Temple Trip

At the end of March we drove to NYC to attend the temple. It was our second time to go to the Manhattan Temple and our first time to drive there. We parked just around the corner from the temple at the Lincoln Center parking garage. With validation from the temple, we were able to park for 4 hours for $20.

We took 4 branch members with us -
2 of whom were young single adults.

While there, we were invited to be proxy for a branch member's grandparents being sealed to their son - her father.

On the way home we stopped in New Palz to have seafood at a restaurant one of the branch members highly recommended.  It was delicious, and we'll definitely go there again sometime.

We didn't get home until about an hour before the women's broadcast began, so we watched it projected on the wall as we lay on the couch and recliner.
I considered where each of our daughters were: Emily and Kristi were together in West Mesa; Allison and Grandma were together in East Mesa; Nori and Rachel watched with friends in Dallas and in Flagstaff; and Sherry was in Oregon with her mother and sisters.

It was a wonderful broadcast about the importance of families.  I know the family is of God, and I am grateful for mine.
