Historic Blizzard

Outside our door is a winter wonderland.

It has been snowing all day.  The temple has even been closed for the evening.

Two storms - one coming from the Great Lakes and the other moving up the East Coast - are forecast to merge just off the New England coast later tonight, creating a potentially historic blizzard for the region.

As part of a new effort to name winter storms, the Weather Channel dubbed the blizzard "Nemo." By mid afternoon, finding Nemo wasn't an issue: snow was accumulating quickly  here in the Rochester area.  All flights out were cancelled.  We've received about 6 inches so far with another 5-6 inches expected through the evening.

It's a good night to stay in and cuddle up.
