Today we attended a zone conference held outside of our CES mission with other couples serving as Pathway missionaries here in the East. Unlike any other zone conference we have attended, this was presented from Idaho via webcam and held in the high council room of the stake center in Hartford, CT. Seven couples attended coming from Newburgh, Springfield, Albany, Hartford, New Haven, Stamford, and Yorktown.
The theme was "Shepherding the One", and the three objectives were those of Pathway itself: To get the gospel down deep into hearts, To help students become capable learners, and To help students help their family. We came away with many new ideas and an action plan that will improve the quality of our service to those participating in this inspired program. Elder Ellsworth provided and set up the laptop, projector, cables, and speakers to facilitate this long-distance learning experience. We are grateful for technology and the miracles it facilitates.
