Last Saturday the branch held its annual picnic at Thacher Park. It was well-attended, and there was a lot of great food. The branch presidency (i.e. Pres. and Elder Ellsworth) grilled hamburgers and hot dogs until everyone was full. After eating, there was a lot of visiting, a game of volleyball, some kite-flying, and some children's games.
The park is just outside of Albany in an area that reminds one of being in the mountains. It has a large, enclosed grassy area, trails for hiking, a ramada for serving food, and a place for softball, volleyball, and horseshoes. It was a lot of fun for everyone who came.
