Branch Pioneer Picnic

Last Saturday the branch held its annual picnic at Thacher Park.  It was well-attended, and there was a lot of great food.  The branch presidency (i.e. Pres. and Elder Ellsworth) grilled hamburgers and hot dogs until everyone was full.  After eating, there was a lot of visiting, a game of volleyball, some kite-flying, and some children's games.

The park is just outside of Albany in an area that reminds one of being in the mountains.  It has a large, enclosed grassy area, trails for hiking, a ramada for serving food, and a place for softball, volleyball, and horseshoes. It was a lot of fun for everyone who came.
This picture is not from this year's picnic.  Many of the people are the same, and the place is Thacher Park.
I'll update this as soon as I get a copy of the one taken Saturday.
