Monday evening we had the opportunity to attend the Mormon Tabernacle Choir concert held in Saratoga Springs. We sat on chairs and blankets on the grass at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, a unique venue that allows both indoor and outdoor seating.
The indoor seating ticket prices were a reduced $60 for church members, but that was too expensive for a couple of poor missionaries. So we opted to sit outside. It reminded us of pageant in a way because we brought a picnic and ate and visited while we waited for the performance to begin. It was perfect weather, and we had a spot where we could see and hear everything.
We were hopeful to get a picture with Allison's mission president and his wife (who is a choir member). Two of the choir members said they would have them come see us, but we supposed it was too close to performance time.

It was a fun evening filled with good music and good company.
