A mission requires sacrifices . . . including missing important events with children and grandchildren. These sacrifices bring compensatory blessings, but it is a sacrifice nevertheless.
One such sacrifice was missing Rachel's end-of-the-year piano recitals - the last recitals she will give on stage for a while. She completed her undergraduate degree plus one year of graduate work in piano performance and accompaniment. We are so proud of her and of her accomplishments.
