Yesterday we received the largest snowfall for our area yet this season . . .
. . .14 inches of beautiful snow!
We were able to stay indoors all day and baked
about 14 dozen cookies.
By this morning the storm had passed, so we
ventured out at 5 a.m. on very slick, snowpacked
roads to visit an early-morning seminary class in the
Schoharie Valley (30 miles southwest of us).
It was 14 degrees below 0!!!
(The windchill was supposedly much lower than that.)
It was indeed COLD!
Welcome to the Northeast!
