Today was our day off for this first week of pageant schedule. We decided to drive south 90 miles to the Pennsylvania border (almost) and visit the Corning Museum of Glass.
While there we visited hundreds of exhibits . . .
. . . including the Steuben Glass Collection (my favorite) . . .
. . . and we watched with interest the live demonstrations.
It was a great adventure. The CMOG gift store was terrific, and we spent way too much time admiring the beautiful pieces there; but I couldn't make up my mind on a souvenir, and we came home empty-handed.
We were gone for 7 hours.
