Today Nathan turns 3 years
old.
We Love you, Nathan!
Nathan was born in Michigan,
but now he lives in Dubai and has traveled more in his 3 short years than Grandma and
Grandpa combined. He’s been to
Thailand to ride elephants. He’s
been to Africa to see lots and
lots of animals, i.e. giraffes, hippos, lions, zebras, ostriches,
turtles, rhinos, water bucks, chimps, wart hogs, and more. Nathan especially liked the zebras.
He’s also been to Oman to jeep in the desert with his dad.
Nathan is the younger
brother of Michael and Daniel, and he is an older brother to Jacob. He is Mom’s big helper when the older
boys are at school and loves having playtime together most weekday mornings. His mother says that everyday when they
pick Daniel up from the bus stop, Nathan picks her a flower. He loves his mom
and knows he has the BEST mom ever!
Nathan loves trains. He
loves to ride the train (metro), too. He and his mom and little brother have a
lot of adventures going places on the train.
Nathan believes he is a big
kid and tries to keep up with the older boys. He is good at puzzles and at
building things. He builds
impressive towers and likes to read, draw, and paint. Another thing that Nathan
likes is having friends over to play. One of his friends is Levi, and he is
especially happy when he comes to play.
Nathan is kind of quiet, so
when Grandma and Grandpa skype with him and his family, he doesn’t say much. But he knows he is loved, and that is
enough. His mom says he is the strong, silent type. Like his dad, he is very
independent and likes to do things himself. He doesn’t need help with putting
on his shoes or getting in his car seat and things like that.
As his pictures show,
Nathan has the best smile. His mom
says he gives the best hugs, too!
Grandma is missing out on those because he is so far away! Did I mention his beautiful blue
eyes? They remind us of his dad
when he was his age. He will grow up to be just like him.
