This is Daniel.
On Wednesday, Daniel will be 5 years old! Daniel is a good
boy! He is a big brother to Nathan and Jacob and
a little brother to Michael. He is Mom’s helper, too.
Daniel was born in Texas, where his family lived while daddy
attended law school. When he was a
few months old, he traveled with his family to New York to attend Aunt Nori’s
wedding. While he was there, he
was given a baby blessing by his father in the Sacred Grove. Both of his grandpas were there and a
couple of his uncles: Uncle Scott and Uncle Travis. How special is that?!
When Daniel was a year old, still wearing diapers and
drinking out of a sippy cup, his family moved to Michigan. Daniel and his brother Michael drove
with Grandma and Grandpa from his old apartment to his new home and stayed 2
nights in hotels in order to get there.
Daniel was so brave. His
mom and dad flew on an airplane a few days earlier to find a new house to live
in. Not only did he make a big
trip with his grandparents, he watched as movers came and boxed up all the
things in his house and carried them into a really big truck. He also watched another big truck come
and load his mom’s car and take it away.
He was too little to understand what was going on, but he was very brave. And all this while he was sick, too.
Now Daniel lives in Dubai with his family. He loves animals, visiting the zoo,
attending school, learning the Articles of Faith, building things, and making
good choices. He also likes to go to the beach to play in the sand, to go
jeeping in the desert with his dad, and to act out scripture stories. He loves
learning about the stories in the scriptures and all of the heroes written about
there.
Daniel is a lucky boy!
