First Edition Copy of the Book of Mormon

Last Wednesday we had a district activity to visit the NY State Museum located here in downtown Albany.  Each member of our group had the opportunity to see, handle, and read from a first edition copy the Book of Mormon stored in the archives on the 11^th floor.  

Then we visited a section on the 1^st floor that featured the events of 9-11.  To see some of the twisted steel beams and leftover debris was very sobering.  

On the 4^th floor was a full-size, restored carousel that gives free rides.  The missionaries loved that!  We even had the opportunity to do a little missionary work with one of the employees who was full of questions.
