On Wednesday we drove to Vermont to attend an early-morning class. The drive took us just under an hour and a half. The class began at 6:30 A.M.
We love our seminary visits! We admire the sacrifice of the teachers and the contrite hearts of the learners who also sacrifice to get up early and be present, ready to participate.
This visit was held in a home located out in the country
on a dirt road 30 minutes north of Bennington,
the nearest city.
The teacher drove 30 minutes north, bringing one student, while another student traveled 30 minutes south
to join the small class that met around the
kitchen table of the third students' home.
Thank goodness for our GPS.
Without it we would never find our way
for these early-morning visits.
It makes a great analogy . . .
traveling in the dark, unable to see beyond the headlights,
not knowing our way, following a small voice and trusting
it will take us to our desired destination.
The best part is the light and peace and joy we find
at the end of the journey.
We are never disappointed.
