Happy November

Here is one last glimpse of Fall.

This Farmer's Market is within walking distance of our neighborhood.  For Halloween, they had a petting zoo, wagon rides, a pumpkin patch, and some cornstalk teepees that are lined inside with lighted carved pumpkins and glow-in-the-dark decorations. (The pictures were taken several days ago.)

We finally made it by yesterday to see the teepees.  The pumpkins were all but gone, and they were starting to clean up and get ready for Christmas decor;
but we were glad to see what was inside the teepees even if it was the day AFTER Halloween.

Since Hurricane Sandy, most of the leaves on the trees are gone and everything looks gray and dreary.  I guess we are ready for the beauty of a snowstorm.  Bring it.
