Today we spent our p-day with a local couple we serve with at the temple. We traveled south to Watkins Glen, located at the southern most tip of Seneca Lake. There we enjoyed a little picnic and then hiked the gorge to see several beautiful waterfalls. On the way there we stopped at a Mennonite store in Waterloo called Sauders to shop and to purchase our lunch. We bought a gift for Allison and coloring books for
Michael and Elizabeth.
Coming home we took a different route and enjoyed more countryside filled with numerous grape vineyards and wineries -- and of course we enjoyed the beautiful autumn leaves.
We love New York and are so grateful to be serving in this area.
