Saturday we received our new weekend assignment, and we will be traveling further south (three hours), crossing the border, and going into the Pennsylvania Pittsburgh Mission
(but still the Palmyra Temple District).
Today was our first time to attend meetings there. Another first . . . we attended a "linger longer" after the block where we got better acquainted with the members.
We were called on to share our testimonies in sacrament meeting and asked to teach the youth Sunday School class. I also helped with the piano during the joint priesthood/Relief Society meeting taught by the bishop.
We are excited to be back to serving on the weekends once again. A few of the ward members are new from the Corry Branch which was closed the same week as our last branch.
Here is a picture of our building.
It is in a beautiful area not far from the Allegany National Forest, Reservoir, and Kinzue Dam which we drive by coming and going.
